Spacious central unit in downtown Miami

Terrible hosts, avoid this place Positive: We liked the location , although the address is misleading as the apartment isn’t where it says on booking.com. It’s advertised as being in Bricknell, but it’s in downtown Miami. Negative: The host and rental company don’t want to know about any problems. The Address is in a different location to advertised, causing taxis we had pre booked and paid to be cancelled, refunded and rebooked. They don’t give you the proper address until you get there. It’s not in Bricknell, it’s in downtown Miami, We washed on our last day and came to use tumble dryer that was broken so we had to take wet washing with us! The window in bedroom won’t shut and is open at least an inch, letting in all weather and very noisy from traffic, sirens e.c.t Missing smoke alarm in bedroom, wires hanging out. no kettle, had to boil a saucepan to make a hot drink. Promises of one being delivered, but nobody came, we got one the night before checkout! Bedside lamps not working in all 3 bedrooms, had to use phone torch to guide our way in the night. Couldn’t get any channels on 2 of the tv’s. Broken back on sofa. Socket covers on floor missing, around the table, metal chair legs can easily go in socket. The host ignored most of our messages, they promised to send maintenance men, but none came. Looking back at other people’s reviews, lots of these problems have been reported months ago, but still haven’t been rectified. They are obviously only bothered about the money and don’t care about people not being happy, or maintaining things. Such a shame as some of these complaints would not cost much to put right. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE

It was very uncomfortable for the first night until the cleaners and maintenance arrived the next morning. I would not r Positive: The location - it was close to everything. Negative: It was dirty, the couch was broken and stained, the place smelled like weed and smoke, the window handle were broken which made it difficult for us to air out the place, the floors were dirty, two bathroom toilets didn’t work, the washer didn’t work and the property was not very communicative prior to arrival.

No service Positive: Nice apartment Negative: The host does not provide any service. We do not recommend booking this property. The host does not provide any service whatsoever. The window in one of the bedrooms was open throughout our two week stay. We requested multiple times for someone to come and close it as it couldn’t be closed manually. Nobody came. They told us they would come and made us wait an entire day, but at 5PM they said that they were not able to pass by. It was raining heavily, therefore there was cold air and rainwater coming in, as well as noise. There were also some serious damages in the property, as we arrived and saw that one of the doors has a punch/hole behind it (in one of the bathrooms). There was also a broken mirror. The sofa was also broken. Missing light bulbs. Laundry room doors detached. No forks in the cutlery. We don’t recommend staying there. Inefficient service, should not be hosting.

Gym and pools was good Negative: We had so many issues such as broken sofa, toilet door was smashed, lighting in kitchen inadequate. Pots and pans were a health concern. Broken light in living area.
