Don‘t book this Place! You can find better for this Money! Negative: Never again – I would not book this accommodation again. After we had booked the apartment and could no longer cancel free of charge, we received a message asking us to provide identification documents via an email address that appeared random and unfamiliar. We were also informed that we had to pay an additional building fee of $52. According to Booking.com, the reservation had already been fully paid, and it is clearly stated that guests should not make additional payments outside the platform or share sensitive personal information via email with private individuals. However, we were effectively forced to do so because otherwise we would not receive the check-in information. What concerns me most is the handling of sensitive personal information. One of the reasons I chose to book through Booking.com was the expectation that payments, identity verification, and personal data would be handled through established and trusted processes rather than through direct communication with unknown third parties. Because copies of my identification documents were requested and transmitted electronically, I now feel compelled to have my ID replaced at my own expense, as I have no way of knowing who may have accessed, copied, forwarded, stored, or potentially misused this information. This is fundamentally different from a standard identity check conducted in person or from providing a paper copy directly to accommodation staff during check-in. I understand that accommodations may choose to charge additional fees and may also use remote check-in procedures. However, such requirements should be disclosed clearly before a guest commits to a non-refundable reservation. In this case, the information was only provided after free cancellation was no longer possible, preventing guests from making a fully informed booking decision. What made the situation even more frustrating was that when I contacted Booking.

Very recommended Positive: Beautiful condo in a great location, close to every thing, in a safe area, lovely clean with a great view, very good service staff that helped with any question and made our visit a wonderful holiday.
